If you are not familiar with what a maturating toilet is, it is designed to allow the toilet to be installed in bathroom locations, where traditional plumbing is really not practical like a garage or even a basement the toilet uses a pump to grind the waste . with that being said, this is a great option as we decided to put it in our basement. If you have any concerns about having it shipped, it is heavy, but the package comes extremely well. Packed and installation is easy. It does require two people as the toilet itself is a bit heavy

This rear outlet toilet kit comes complete with all the necessary hardware. The tall, elegant design features a smooth, skirted base and an 18 inch chair height profile, giving it a sleek and modern look. The elongated bowl pairs well with the included slow close seat and lid, adding both comfort and convenience. It’s a two piece model bowl and tank, made from durable ceramic in a clean white finish. I’m currently remodeling my basement half bath, and this toilet is proving to be a great fit. I recommend carefully inspecting the toilet and all accessories before installation to ensure everything is included. It’s also important to take accurate measurements and review the installation instructions beforehand.

It’s the perfect addition to my bathroom. It has really good suction and everything goes down with one flush. I also like that the bolts aren’t on the outside of the toilet because it makes it so much easier to clean the base of the toilet and does not collect dust like others. Also, it was a pretty simple install to my rear outlet and you don’t even see the pipe! Keep in mind it is a 2 person lift, it’s heavy too.

This rear-discharge comfort-height toilet is a practical choice for bathrooms with wall plumbing or renovations that don’t accommodate a standard floor outlet. The 18-inch comfort height and elongated bowl make it more accessible and comfortable for most adults, especially if mobility or ease of sitting/standing is a priority. Its 1.28 gallon-per-flush rimless system is efficient and helps reduce water use without sacrificing cleaning performance. The included two extension pipes offer installation flexibility, which can simplify fitting in unconventional layouts. Glossy white ceramic looks clean and modern, and overall performance is solid for the price — a functional, water-saving pick for a rear-outlet setup.

I renovated a house for my handicap customer and so glad I selected this High Toilet Elongated With Comfort Chair Seat for my customer. Her basement bathroom was being remodeled. I needed a Nice TALL Rear Discharge toilet and this one was a PERFECT match for what we were looking for. Design was very nice and installation was a breeze. It had all the parts needed to connect to the drain since it’s not a floor drain and can’t use wax. Quality is as good if not better than the $1500 models. Customer is very happy. Highly recommending.

I have a 4 inch(id) waste line, 7" to center off the wall. Will a rear discharge toilet work? How far off the wall would the toilet need to be, measured from the back of the tank? Tony asked on February 15, 2026

A rear discharge toilet is designed for wall outlet setups, where the waste pipe exits horizontally through the wall—not the floor. If your 7″ measurement is from the wall (typical floor rough-in), that indicates a floor-discharge configuration, so a rear discharge model would not be compatible. For proper installation, a rear discharge toilet requires the drain connection to be positioned in the wall at the correct height. In that setup, the tank will sit nearly flush against the wall with minimal gap.If your drain is in the floor, a standard floor-discharge toilet will be the correct and easiest fit for your layout.
